The Makers Huddle Presents…
Socially U
put the human back into your marketing | No Trends Required.
Learn how to show up online, share what makes your work worth knowing, and build genuine connections that grow into community, opportunities, and sales.
All while being unapologetically YOU.
A six-week online marketing course for creatives and small business owners who want to share their work, connect with the right people, and build a social media presence that actually supports their business.
Because you shouldn't have to separate who you are from the business you created.
You've Got the Thing. Now Where Are the People?
Okay, so you make things. Do things. You have sooo many ideas. You've got something you're putting out into the world, or want to.
And you want people to see it. Be a part of it.
Maybe you've been creating for years, but most of your customers still find you through word of mouth, markets, or people who already know you.
Maybe you've started sharing your work online, but you're not quite sure how to get beyond the same handful of people liking your posts.
Or maybe you've watched other creatives build these wonderful little corners of the internet where people show up, engage, buy things, and genuinely care about what they're creating.
And you've thought, How the hell do they do that?
So you start looking for advice.
Post more. Be consistent. Find your niche. Follow the trends. Make more Reels. Get on TikTok. Create a funnel. Build your personal brand.
Good grief.
But here's what I'm curious about.
What if the answer isn't becoming better at pretending to be someone else?
What if it's understanding what makes YOU interesting, what makes your work worth sharing, and how to connect with people who genuinely care about what you're creating?
What if we could take all of that and put it to work for your business?
That's what we're going to explore in Socially U.
So, what is Socially U all about?
Socially U is a six-week, small-group online marketing course where we'll figure out how to make social media work for YOU and the business you've created.
And no, I won't hand you a content formula and tell you to post three Reels every Tuesday and then join TikTok.
We're starting with the person behind the business. YOU.
What makes your work different?
What do you want people to know you for?
Who do you want to connect with?
How can you share what you do in a way that makes people interested, engaged, and excited to be part of it?
Then we'll put everything we discover into action.
We'll explore your brand, your voice, storytelling, content, visibility, audience growth, and how to turn those connections into opportunities and sales.
We'll ask questions. Challenge assumptions. Workshop ideas. Try things out. And figure out what actually works for you.
Part coaching. Part marketing strategy. Part creative working room.
And a whole lot of learning how to bring more of YOU into the business you're already building.
Because the goal isn't to turn you into a better content creator.
It's to help you get better at sharing the business, the work, and the human who's already there.
Meet your Creative Compass.
Throughout Socially U, you'll begin building your own Creative Compass. Think of it as a personal working guide for your business and the choices you make along the way.
Each week, you'll add something new.
By the end of our six weeks, you'll have a guide filled with the ideas, decisions, and strategies you've developed for your own work. Something you can actually come back to when you're wondering what to share, where to focus your energy, or what to try next.
And because businesses change, people change, and new ideas have a funny way of showing up when you least expect them, your Creative Compass isn't meant to stay the same forever.
As you continue learning and growing through The Makers Huddle, you'll be able to keep adding to it.
One Compass. Yours to build on, revisit, and make your own.
Look, you don't have to figure it out alone.
There's something really valuable about getting together with people who are working on their own projects, bringing different perspectives, asking questions, and seeing possibilities you might not have considered.
Sometimes all it takes is someone asking a question you hadn't thought to ask.
Or hearing how someone else approached something you've been struggling with.
Or finally saying an idea out loud and realizing, Ohhh, wait. I think there's actually something here.
And when you're trying to figure out how to talk about your business, share your work, or get more comfortable putting yourself out there, having people to bounce ideas around with can make all the difference.
That's the kind of room I want us to create.
A place where we can bring our ideas, questions, half-formed thoughts, and what we're excited about, and work through them together.
Where you can try out that caption, talk through an idea for a video, ask whether your message makes sense, or get a little encouragement before you finally hit publish.
I'll bring the coaching, creative strategy, and tools to help you make sense of it all.
You'll bring the thing you're building.
And together, we'll see what we can do with it.
But like, how does Socially U actually work?
Glad you asked.
We'll kick things off with a LIVE Kickoff Call to meet each other, share what we're bringing to Socially U, and get ready for the next six weeks.
After that, you'll receive a weekly video coaching lesson and exercises to explore and put into practice on your own time.
Then, in Weeks 2, 4, and 6, we'll come together for a 90-minute LIVE Huddle Up.
But what's a Huddle Up?
Think group coaching meets creative brainstorming, with a whole lot of figuring things out together.
I'll guide us through what we've been learning, share ideas, and offer coaching to help you put it into practice. Then we'll get into what you're actually working on.
Stuck on something from the lesson? Struggling with an idea, a message, or your next step?
Bring it to the Huddle Up, and we'll work through it together.
And the best part? You get to learn from the coaching happening around you, too. Sometimes someone else's question is exactly the one you didn't realize you needed to ask.
All LIVE Huddle Ups will be recorded, so you can catch the replay if you can't make it live.
The conversations don't have to stop when the call ends.
When you join Socially U, you'll also become part of The Makers Huddle community, with access to our shared Huddler group chat.
A place to ask questions, share wins, get another perspective, or talk through the ideas circling your brain with people who get it.
And here's the lovely part. It doesn't end after six weeks.
You'll stay connected to the Huddler community after Socially U ends.
Because having people in your corner shouldn't have to end just because a course does.
6 Weeks from now, you'll have…
A clearer understanding of your brand and what makes your creative work different.
Messaging that sounds like you and helps people understand what you offer.
A better picture of who you're trying to reach and how to connect with them.
A social media approach built around your goals, personality, and capacity.
Your own Creative Compass to keep building on after the course.
Content ideas and marketing experiments you've actually started putting into practice.
A plan for turning visibility and engagement into opportunities and sales.
Each Week We'll Explore
╰┈➤ Week 1: The Big Picture
Before we start changing bios, making content plans, or deciding which social media platform deserves our attention, let's look at the bigger picture.
Because how are we supposed to figure out how to market your creative work if we haven't talked about what you're actually trying to build?
And here's a big one: Is the way you're currently showing up and sharing your work actually helping you get where you want to go?
Maybe you're turning a hobby into a business and trying to figure out how to get your work in front of people beyond your friends and family.
Maybe you've been in business for years, but most of your customers still come from word of mouth, and you're ready to reach a wider audience.
Or maybe you're already showing up online, posting the posts and doing all the things, but you're not really sure what any of it is doing for your business.
This is where we get curious about what you've built, what you want, and what role online marketing can play in helping you get there.
Because before we figure out how you want to show up, we need to understand what you're showing up for.
╰┈➤ Week 2: What's at the Heart?
Now we're getting into your brand identity. And no, I'm not talking about your hex codes. Not yet, anyway.
I'm talking about the ideas, values, beliefs, experiences, and little quirks that shape what your business stands for.
Because before we start figuring out how to get more people to notice your work, we need to understand what makes it worth noticing.
We'll explore your brand's purpose, values, personality, and the things you want to be known for.
And we'll start looking at how those things show up in your business already. In the work you create, the stories you tell, the way you interact with people, and the experience they have when they find you online.
Because a brand is more than a logo, a color palette, or an Instagram aesthetic.
It's what people come to recognize, understand, remember, and experience through your work.
And the more you understand what makes your business yours, the more intentionally you can share it with the people you want to reach.
Before we figure out how to communicate all of that, we need to know what it actually is.
╰┈➤ Week 3: Say It Like You Mean It
You know how you can talk about something you love with a friend, but the second you sit down to write a caption, you suddenly sound like a marketing department?
Yeah. That.
Now that we're clearer on what your business stands for, let's figure out how to talk about it in a way that sounds like YOU and makes sense to the people you're trying to reach.
And how do you explain all of that without borrowing someone else's language?
We'll work on your brand voice, messaging, positioning, and storytelling. Not just finding the right words, but understanding how to use them to get people's attention, help them connect with your work, and understand why it matters.
And then we'll put those words to work.
Maybe you're rewriting your bio, updating how you describe an offer, finding a better way to introduce your business on social media, or finally writing that About page without feeling like you've swallowed a corporate brochure.
We'll also start looking at how to talk about what you're offering and invite people to take that next step, whether that's following along, joining your community, booking a service, or buying something you've made.
Because good marketing isn't just about getting people to notice you. It's about helping them understand what you do, why it matters, and why they might want to be part of it.
In words that actually sound like you.
╰┈➤ Week 4: Get Out There
Ah yes, the internet.
Where approximately 4,728 people have opinions on what you're supposed to do with your business.
Post every day. Make more videos. Try this trend. Use this sound. Be consistent. Be everywhere.
Somewhere in there, you're also supposed to make the work, run the business, and have an actual life.
So let's talk about social media.
Not just Instagram.
TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and whatever other corners of the internet might make sense for what you're building.
We'll explore how these platforms work, how people discover new accounts and businesses, and what kinds of content help you reach, connect with, and engage the people you actually want to find you.
And we'll figure out how to approach all of that in a way that makes sense for your business, your personality, and your capacity.
And how can you become more visible without feeling like your entire life needs to become content?
We'll look at content ideas, discoverability, engagement, and how to build a realistic approach to showing up online. One that helps more people find your work without making social media your entire job.
Because getting your work out into the world isn't just about posting more.
It's about understanding what you're sharing, who you're trying to reach, and how to create opportunities for those people to find you.
We're not here to master every platform.
We're here to figure out where and how you want to show up, how to reach more people, and how to make that work for your business.
╰┈➤ Week 5: Make Some Friends
An audience is made of actual humans.
Wild concept, apparently.
And those humans aren't just numbers on a screen.
They're people who might love what you're making, need what you're offering, want to be part of what you're creating, or know someone who does.
So how do we make it easier for them to find their way into your world and actually want to stick around?
This week, we're getting into the relationship side of marketing.
Because visibility is wonderful, but being seen isn't quite the same as being connected.
And having people connect with your work is wonderful, too. But if you're building a creative business, we also need to talk about how those connections can become opportunities and sales.
We'll explore how people move from discovering your work to becoming interested in it, engaging with you, and eventually deciding they want to support what you're creating.
And how to make that next step easier, whether that's joining your email list, attending an event, booking a service, purchasing something you've made, or simply sticking around until they're ready.
Because selling doesn't have to mean pressuring people. Sometimes it means making sure they actually know what you're offering and how to say yes.
And then we'll try something.
Maybe you send an email. Share a story. Start a conversation. Introduce an offer differently. Invite people to an event, service, or something you've created.
We'll pay attention to what happens, what feels good, what gets people responding, and what we might want to do differently next time.
Try something. Pay attention to what happens. See what you learn.
╰┈➤ Week 6: Make Your Moves
Okay, we've got some things to work with now.
You know more about your business, what it stands for, how you want to talk about it, where you want to show up, and who you hope to connect with.
And hopefully, you've started trying a few things along the way.
So what happens next?
This week, we're bringing everything together into a marketing plan you can actually use.
We'll look at what you've tried, what you've learned, what's working, what needs adjusting, and what you're ready to do next.
Whatever comes next, we'll take everything we've explored over the last six weeks and turn it into a realistic plan for how you want to show up, reach people, build connections, and market your work moving forward.
One that fits your business, your goals, your personality, and the life you're actually living.
And one you can keep experimenting with, learning from, and adjusting as your business grows.
Because the point isn't to leave with a perfect marketing formula. It's to leave knowing what your next moves are, why you're making them, and how to put them into action.
Why I Created The Makers Huddle
What you offer gets their attention. But Who you are gives them a reason to care.
I've spent years making art, organizing events, building creative projects, and bringing people together.
What I've learned along the way is that people don't just connect with what you create or sell.
They connect with you.
The way you make them feel. The conversations you have. The experience of being invited into something and feeling like you belong.
I've watched it happen over and over again.
People show up. They participate. They bring their friends. And before you know it, something you created becomes something bigger than you.
That's always been my favorite part.
And it's how I've approached showing up online, too.
I've never wanted the person you meet on Instagram or TikTok to feel different from the person you'd meet at one of my events.
Because I believe building a business can feel just as personal, creative, and connected as the things we make.
But here's the thing.
The way I've built things doesn't have to be the way you build yours.
I want you to discover what feels good to you. What sounds like you. What makes people want to be part of what you're creating.
That's why I created The Makers Huddle.
A place to explore the art of building a business your way, with people who are figuring it out alongside you.
And Socially U is where we're starting.
Wait, what counts as a creative business?
Here's the thing. You don't have to sell art to run a creative business.
Maybe you're an artist, maker, writer, coach, service provider, community builder, or someone whose work doesn't fit neatly into any one category.
Or maybe what you do isn't traditionally considered creative, but you've got ideas about how you want to do things differently.
You want the freedom to experiment. To use your imagination. To bring your personality into what you do.
To build something that feels like you instead of following somebody else's idea of what a business is supposed to look like.
Because creativity isn't just about what you make. It's about how you choose to make it yours.
You don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to get in there.
Bring your ideas, your questions, and the thing you're building.
We'll work from there.

DON'T JUST TAKE MY WORD FOR IT.
“Audrey has this talent for alchemizing fear into clear action plans. She helped me identify my goals, find an achievable path forward, and build a loyal following and a sustainable business model that is still uniquely mine.”
Val · @valthedestroyer
“When I look back on my sessions together with Audrey, what shifted was my ability to be held, creatively and emotionally. I faced a lot of uncertainty, and our sessions reminded me that uncertainty could be okay and safe, even when it felt uncomfortable. I felt like I could share my art with the world more, let more people in, and be really, truly held in my life.”
Azul · @Azul.Bolivarr
“Not only is Audrey an amazing artist and understands all the ins and outs of the business, but she knows how to gather that knowledge and incorporate it the goals you have.
Her poignant advice helped me prelaunch my canning course and earn 5xs more than I would have. Not only is Audrey a wealth of knowledge but she has a way of encouraging future bigger projects.”
Anna · @smarthomecanning
“Audrey was one of the first people to describe business in a way that didn't feel icky. She broke it down to a point where I felt like I could actually apply it to myself, instead of it being this confusing mess of information only people who already had businesses could understand.
She's taught me to be courageous. Just do the damn thing. Fuck the rest.”
Ken · @Stickycleans
Working with Audrey helped me believe in myself and what I bring to the table. Having someone in my corner who genuinely believed in me and cheered me on made a huge difference, especially when imposter syndrome was loud and I was questioning myself.
I could word vomit whatever was on my mind, and she would listen and help me make sense of my ideas and what my business needed. She helped me see that creating content didn't have to be so hard. I could just be myself.
More than anything, working with Audrey helped me trust myself. The confidence, clarity, and willingness to take up space I gained continue to influence how I approach my business and my life today.
Marcelino· @soymurga
OKAY, BUT IMAGINE WHAT WE COULD DO.
Imagine not sitting down to write a caption and immediately forgetting how to be a human.
Imagine knowing what you want to share, who you're trying to reach, and why someone might actually care.
Imagine having people discover your work who aren't already your friends, family, or the lovely humans who always buy something from your booth.
And imagine being able to invite those people to support what you're creating without feeling like you've suddenly turned into a used-car salesperson.
That's what I want us to work toward.
Not becoming internet famous (unless that's ya thang, queen.) or to create content every waking moment. Heck Not even chasing every trend that comes along.
Just learning how to use the internet to build connections, grow your creative business, and make more room for the work you love.
And doing it in a way that feels like YOU.
Six weeks. A whole lot of curiosity. Some creative experimenting. And a group of humans figuring things out alongside you.
Socially U: No Trends Required.
Enrollment closes November 15. We kick things off November 19.
